Does vMeasure has the capability to work on a conveyor?

  • Yes, vMeasure can be integrated on conveyor belts and check-weighers. There are two ways in which vMeasure can be integrated with a conveyor:
    • Stop and Go mechanism:
      • The system identifies the parcel under the conveyor and stops the conveyor.
      • Then vMeasure dimensions the device.
    • Automatic trigger:
      • vMeasure can be automatically triggered by identifying the object under the area of interest without stopping the conveyor provided:
        • The parcels travel in a single file in the conveyor.
        • The conveyor’s speed is not more than 0.5 meters/sec.
        • The distance between boxes to be dimensioned is 75 cm.
