How long will the data be stored?

  • The timeline for storage of all data captured from within the vMeasure Ultima system is 30 days.
  • The data is stored in the vMeasure Forge system.
  • Currently, there is no restriction on the amount of memory a device can use in terms of scanned data captured within the 30-day period.
  • Be it 100 records or 30,000 records per month per device, the data will be stored for 30 days.
  • If you wish to store the data within the vMeasure Forge system for longer than 30 days, it can be done so for the cost of 5 USD for every extra 30 days per device.
  • This extra data storage capacity is primarily used by retailers and fulfilment centres building SKU master data across their entire firm and are looking for a dedicated item master data storage system.
  • The Operations managers of these firms customize the workflow to capture all SKU attributes in addition to the dimensioning data using the customizable workflow feature within the vMeasure Ultima UX and store the item master within the vMeasure forge system
