How to integrate Essae Scale-DS215N with vMeasure?

Step 1: Connect the USB from the weighing scale to one of the USB ports of the Power Box and plug the power cable to a main power source

Weighing Scale Selection on the vMeasure Touchscreen

Step 2: After logging in to vMeasure, navigate to the Scale menu.
Step 3.1: Choose Essae Scale-DS215N from the list of weighing scales.
Step 3.2:
Scale Unit: Choose the unit that is displayed on the weighing scale. By default, the Essae Scale-DS215N weighing scale has only kilograms in units.
Step 3.3:
Default Minimum Weight: Select the minimum weight that needs to be displayed by default when the actual weight of the product is very light.
Some warehouse management systems would not consider products weighing closer to zero and this setting ensures that the minimum weight requirement is maintained.
Click save to finish the weighing scale integration.
Note:
The unit selected should match with the unit configured on the weighing scale.
Step 3.4:
After confirming the uniformity between the unit selected on vMeasure and the unit displayed on the weighing scale, press Save to finish the weighing scale integration.

Calibration

Step 4:
Click on the Calibration menu.
Step 5:
Select the appropriate setup height.
Step 6:
Wait for 5 seconds for the system to calibrate.
Step 7:
Upon successful calibration, your weighing scale will be ready for use.

Troubleshooting

  • - Check whether Essae Scale-DS215N is selected and that the choice matches with the model of the weighing scale you are trying to integrate.
  • - Ensure the wire is properly connected.
  • - Check whether the units on the weighing scale and the unit selected on the vMeasure Touchscreen matches.
  • - There could be some fluctuations or a negative weight in the weighing scale readings due to unstable platform.
  • - Ensure the object’s weight does not exceed the maximum weight capacity of the selected weighing scale.
  • - If the device shows an error stating “Unable to read or write data to the scale” on the measurement page, try the following steps:
    • Check for loose wire connections.
    • Reconnect the wires and reselect the weighing scale in the scale menu.
    • Recalibrate the device.

  • - Check whether the surrounding (at least 3 cm around the device) is clear and free from external disturbances.
  • - Ensure you select the appropriate setup height in the Calibration menu.
  • - Remove the object, if any, on the weighing scale during calibration.
