The UPS uses the UPS DIM weight calculator to calculate the pricing for dimensional weight. UPS will use the bigger of the two weights—dimensional or actual weight—as the billable weight. There are additional expenses associated with some size restrictions. For instance, the longest side of your box shouldn’t be longer than 108 inches (274 cm). It should also be up to 70 kilos or 150 pounds in weight; therefore, the ups dimensional weight pricing is calculated.
