Yes. vMeasure can be integrated on conveyor belts and check-weighers for conveyor-based dimensioning workflows.
To match different operating models, vMeasure supports two conveyor-ready product lines, one built for stop-and-go conveyor stations and one built for in-motion conveyor stations.
1) Stop-and-go conveyor dimensioning (conveyor pauses for the scan)
- The system detects a parcel entering the measurement zone and stops the conveyor.
- vMeasure captures dimensioning data while the parcel is stationary.
- This is used when the line can pause briefly to ensure stable capture.
2) In-motion conveyor dimensioning (scan without stopping the conveyor)
- vMeasure can be automatically triggered by detecting the parcel under the scan zone without stopping the conveyor.
- This is used when the operation needs continuous movement and consistent capture at line speed.
