No. vMeasure does not require special alignment to a corner or a fixed reference point. Unlike laser-based static dimensioning systems that depend on corner placement and manual marking, vMeasure uses computer vision to detect the package automatically.
As long as the parcel is placed within vMeasure’s field of view, the system captures the dimensions in about 1 second.
Best practice:
- Place the parcel fully inside the scan area.
- Avoid covering edges or corners with hands, tape guns, or other objects during the scan.
