A dimensioner is an automation tool that measures the dimensions and the volume of an item. In the warehouse and logistics industry, a dimensioner measures the length, height, width, and weight of SKUs or parcels for various purposes such as SKU master data, calculate shipping costs, or bill customers for the volume occupied by their package.

vMeasure dimensioner has two product lines:
- vMeasure Parcel Ultima (Measures anything from an envelope to a mid-sized refrigerator)

3. What are the different ways I can use the parcel dimensioner?
The parcel dimensioner can be used in three different heights.
- Small SKU mode: Mounted at a height of 1.1 m from the weighing scale surface. Used for building SKU master data by mounting in on a mobile cart at the receiving station.Check out here

4. How does the vMeasure dimensioner work?
Step 1: Place the parcel beneath the camera on the weighing scale
Step 2: Scan the barcode to trigger measurements (Multiple trigger options available)
Step 3: The dimensioner records the Length, Width, Height, and Weight of the parcel while mapping the barcode against the SKU. Additionally, it captures the parcel image along with annotations.
Step 4: The measurement data is transferred to vMeasure Forge (our cloud solution), where it will be securely stored for 30 days. The data can be pushed to any external software such as WMS, TMS, shipping software, and carrier software.
5. Is my data stored on vMeasure Forge (Cloud solution) secure?
